These fries are so easy & a new favorite in my house! I highly recommend adding lots of pepper.
Ingredients:
- 1.5 pounds russet potatoes (or 2 large potatoes)
- 2 Tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1.5 teaspoons kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh cracked black pepper
Preparation:
- Preheat the oven to 400F.
- Clean the potatoes, then cut lengthwise into [1/2] inch wide fries.
- Place the fries in a large bowl and and toss with olive oil, salt, & pepper.
- Spread fries across a parchment paper lined baking sheet in a single layer..
- Bake in the oven until potatoes are golden brown all over and crisp, about 30 minutes.
Notes:
- If you’re a Dallas local I would highly suggest throwing some Burger House seasoning on top of these!!
